What to expect...
Depending on your vision or the type of photography support you are looking for, we will cater the experience specifically to your needs. From quick "mini-sessions" to capture the growing smiles of impatient little ones to crafting a detailed fashion forward couples portrait- we can do it. See below to get an idea of what to expect, depending on what type of service you need.
Event Photography Services

We will have an initial call (phone, zoom, or coffee!) to meet and discuss the details of your event. Whether it is a wedding, corporate retreat, baby shower, family reunion- we'll get all the details and want to hear about your vision as you are planning it. If you decide you want us to capture your special day, a deposit is required to reserve the day.

A week or two prior to the event, we will have another call to get updated on final details, timelines, and requests for the event. We will provide you a form to fill out that gives us key information prior to this call (think: bridal party names, family groupings, CEO and key board members).

Day of, we arrive at least 45 minutes early. Time to scout the location (if that has not already been done) and touch base with your or your contact to get any day-of detail changes. We get any lighting set up and establish our home base for our equipment. We will kick off shooting as per the timeline that was previously discussed- but don't hesitate to ask us for something if you need it and we will do our best to "read the room" and pick up on the vibe!

As we capture the event we will be getting pictures that capture the breadth of the event down to the tiny details- and everything in between. We will have some designated time slots for requested portraits with groups or families.

At the end of the day, we will check out with you and ask if there are any final shots you want to capture. Some clients decide they would like us to stay for another hour so we capture more of the reception or after party.

Following your event, we will put together a digital gallery for you to see your images, download files, and order prints.

If you have a unique idea or special request for an edit of any of the images, you can request it and we can make it specially for you!
Creative Portraiture

Oh man are these fun!

We will have an initial call (phone, zoom, or in person) to discuss your vision. If you haven't done so already, I might ask you to browse for images that convey similar feelings or styles you are going for. If you're not sure, I'll provide some examples so we can hone in on what tickles you!

After our initial call, I'll put together some drafts that may be accompanied by rough sketches to give you an idea of the series of images we are planning. Sometimes we nail it right off the bat. Other times, we look and see we should change direction a bit to bring it all together.

We will schedule the final portrait time, whether in the studio or on location somewhere that fits your style.

If you are looking for a simple clean family shoot at the beach or an elaborate fantasy land where everyone plays a character- we can make your vision come to life!
Personal & Business Branding

Let's make you POP!

Your brand- be it personal or professional- is a big factor in making the right first impression. We will have an initial call to discuss what type of branding you are looking for. It can be as simple as a new professional headshot. It can be as elaborate as a new fashion line you are releasing.

After we discuss what you are looking for, I'll provide a proposal to include everything needed. It could be a simple 30 minute headshot session or a day long shoot where we pick models and coordinate hair and make-up artists. Everyone's needs are a little different.

We will review the plan and set a schedule for shooting.

Branding can be needed in a time crunch- so I'll do everything I can to meet your requested deadline. We want your best face, your products, your business out there in the world for everyone to see and get you noticed!
Frequently Asked Questions
- 01
I specialize in creative portraiture and event photography (including weddings).
My creative portraiture portfolio includes unique senior portraits, family portraits, couples sessions, maternity, and fashion forward and editorial shoots. My clients tend to have these printed in larger format for walls and framing.
I photograph so many different types of events each year. Weddings are definitely some of my favorite (who doesn’t have a great time at a wedding!?) but I appreciate that I get to shoot a wide variety of events including graduations, bridal and baby showers, sweet 16’s, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate retreats, and more.

My creative portraiture often stretches into the illustrative and painterly styles, depending on what my clients are looking for. I tend to favor clean and vibrant images, but really I just love the challenge of trying to match my client’s vision.
In my event photography, I work very hard to capture multiple perspectives and have a documentary feel. I want anyone who attended the event to be able to see a special memory triggered. I want any bride to be able to relive that special feeling. I want to capture moments, even some of the hidden ones.

I shoot on location or in studio.
I love exploring new and unique locations. Almost anywhere can become an interesting backdrop for a shoot, depending on the story you are trying to tell or the vision you are trying to capture. Most portrait sessions include a variety of crops, so the background or setting often takes a back seat to the people or subject in the photograph.
If appropriate for the vision, I have a studio located in Monroe, CT where the creativity flows! I shoot in studio (my own or others) when aiming for a clean crisp background, clients want to try a handful of different outfits, or a controlled environment is favorable ( think: sleepy newborns).
